​Dear Parents and Students, 

My name is Megan Campbell, and I am so proud to be the owner of Studio MC Performing Arts Centre.

Dance has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I spent 25 years dancing at the Toni Zeakes Performing Arts Centre, and in 2008, I was given the opportunity to become part of its incredible teaching staff. For the past 18 years, I have had the privilege of teaching dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics and I can truly say that I have been blessed to turn something I have loved my entire life into my career.

I grew up in the dance studio. I know what it feels like to be the student walking through the doors excited to learn, to perform, to see friends, and to be part of something special. To go from being that little girl, to becoming a teacher, and eventually the owner of my own dance studio is something I will never take for granted.

But what makes Studio MC so special to me isn’t simply the dancing, it’s the people I get to share it with.

Watching our students grow year after year is one of the greatest gifts of what I do. I love watching them gain confidence, discover talents they didn’t know they had, make lifelong friendships, overcome challenges, and fall in love with dance in the same way I did. Every child who walks through our doors brings something unique and special with them, and being trusted to help develop their talent and potential is a responsibility I hold very close to my heart.

At Studio MC, my goal has always been to give every child so much more than dance steps. I want them to receive a strong, quality foundation in dance and tumbling while also learning confidence, discipline, teamwork, self-esteem, and an appreciation for the art of dance. Most importantly, I want Studio MC to be a place where your child feels supported, encouraged, and excited to walk through the doors each week.

I am incredibly proud of the talented and dedicated staff we have built. Our teachers bring experience, passion, creativity, and so much love for their students into every class. Together, we are committed to providing your child with the highest quality dance education we can.

I also want to take a moment to thank Toni and Soozie Zeakes from the bottom of my heart. You gave me a place to fall in love with dance, a place to grow, and eventually the opportunity to live out a dream I once could have only imagined. Dance became part of who I am because of you. The lessons you taught me went far beyond the studio walls, and I will always carry them with me. I promise to continue loving and cherishing this studio and its students in the way you taught me to.

To every parent who trusts us with your child, and to every student who chooses Studio MC as their dance home, thank you. Your support, loyalty, and love mean more to me than I could ever put into words.

I am so excited for another year of learning, growing, laughing, dancing, and making memories together. I cannot wait to see everything our students accomplish this season.
